An accomplished classical guitarist, lover of all things Joan of Arc and late night scholar of Henry David Thoreau, poet Troy Casa, has lived in wonderfully strange places like Reno, Nevada, Gahanna, Ohio and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, all the while, poem writing. Troy Casa is currently editing his new chapbook, Through These Observations, Healed scheduled to be published at Wordrunner Press in February, 2010. The book will include Helix, winner of the 2009 Merrimack Public Library Annual Poetry Contest, Sappho Spoke for the Heartbroken, published in the 2009 summer issue of Feile-Festa and Five Fragments, a sequence of fictitious ancient Greek letter translations, inspired by Louise Gluck.
